It is now many years since work began on our first “Parish Plan” and during this time we have actually accomplished many of the items the village asked for, as we said we would!. A notable ongoing success has been the Events Team who organise many very successful events (even if they also simultaneously engage the services of a rain maker!)
The Parish Plan seeks to involve every individual and every organisation in our village, it has Parish Council and District Council support but is not controlled by these councils. It is a means whereby organisations and individuals can make their views heard on how our village community operates and how they would like to see it develop in the future.
